David Beckham Sues Mark Wahlberg For Millions

via The Graham Norton Show

David Beckham has sued Mark Wahlberg and F45 Training for $10 million over a failed business deal involving the fitness franchise.

Beckham claims he was promised equity in F45 as a global ambassador but the shares were not delivered on time, causing major losses.

Wahlberg had introduced Beckham to F45 in 2019 after acquiring a minor stake himself.

Beckham began prominently promoting F45 in 2020 but the shares were not transferred as agreed.

“I’ve been a fan of the F45 franchise and training model since being introduced by my friend, Mark Wahlberg,” Beckham said.

He and golf star Greg Norman had previously sued F45, which is now requiring separate lawsuits.

Beckham alleges Wahlberg “duped” him into the deal. However, Wahlberg asserts the fraud accusations are baseless and is seeking dismissal.

The legal battle also impacts F45, whose stock price has plummeted amid franchise closures, exacerbating financial instability.
