America’s B-1 bomber teaches Iran a firepower lesson

via Youtube

The U.S. Air Force conducted strikes using B-1 bombers on Iran proxy militia targets in Syria and Iraq.

The White House plans a multi-layered campaign against these militias, relying on airpower for containment and punishment.

The B-1 bombers have a significant payload and are known for their speed.

They were originally designed for low-level penetration during the Cold War.

Former B-1 pilot, and retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Chris Miller, said, “There’s a lot of blur when you look out the side window.”

“Power naps, pay attention to nutrition, and don’t over-caffeinate. You can do 24-20 hours and still feel pretty good,” he continued.

Despite challenges, the fleet is crucial due to its potential role in the Pacific.

The Air Force is testing new capabilities for the B-1, including carrying hypersonic missiles.

Overall, the recent strikes serve as a reminder of the U.S.’s ability to initiate sustained air campaigns and maintain pressure on various insurgent and militia groups.
